"Bonnie" Yvonne Ruth Nettles

(Bonnie) Yvonne Ruth Earley Nettles Born April 14,1957 passed away January 1, 2017.

Bonnie was a very loving mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone around her. She is survived by her devoted husband Darvin Nettles and her three children Daniel Kingston, Lorie Nettles Lucero, and Alise Nettles Reyes. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Gary Earley, Norman Earley, and Rhonda Bakel, whom she loved very much. Her hobbies were her grandchildren, Kindall Nettles, Steven Kingston, (Nikki) Linda Drosche, Dominick Drosche, Miguel Reyes, Isaiah Reyes, Lucas Lucero, and Joshua Ladon. She also has two Great grandchildren Austin Reid, and Arion Nettles. She was kind and compassionate, and always made a point to let those she met know how special they were to her. An active person, she loved to bowl, was in a Dart League and played slow pitch softball at Rouse Park.  You could always find her in the kitchen cooking and there was always room at the "big table" for anyone who didn't have a place to go for the holidays.  She was loved by all who knew her. She was born in Stockton, California but lived most of her life in Colorado. She will be greatly missed! We will see her again when the Lord calls us home. Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, February 13, 2017 at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 245 S. Raynolds, Canon City, CO.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo West, 601 Greenwood Ave., Canon City, Colorado.  Arrangements entrusted to Harwood Funeral Home.  Online condolences at www.harwoodfunerals.com.
