I never spent more than five minutes in Carol's presence without learning something. Always entertaining and full of energy, humor and information, she brought more to the community of Florence than can be tallied. An old genealogy buddy of my mother's, she often called me by her name, Louise. It was a privilege, and an unforgettable experience to have known her.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Carol. Julie and I grew up together, and I have many fond memories of being with the Fox clan at their house, and the drug store. What a great family, and I'm blessed to have known them. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

We met Carol and John when we relocated to Fremont County in 2003. They were active members of St Benedicts Parish and the San Juan Bautista Cemetery Association. Carol was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. They shared their time, talent and treasure with the Florence Community. Florence lost great members of the community. We will miss both of them. Rest In Peace Carol.
