Charles “Ken” Lehl, 75, passed away January 1, 2017 in Canon City, CO. He was born December 31, 1941 to Jacob and Leota (Wentz) Lehl in Denver, CO. He married Barbara Femiak , the love of his life in 1962 and had 5 children. Charles was a master carpenter by trade and if you knew him, you knew he could make anything. He loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed working in his yard, at his cabin, blacksmithing, and left his mark on all of his children's homes.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children; Terri Lehl, Kenny (Jenny) Lehl, Mandi (Kevin) Collins, Nanci (Michael) Hawver, and Richard Lehl; 10 grandchildren; Casey, Julie, Tiffany, Kassy, Jacob, Daniel, Matthew, Elizabeth, Michael, and Alexendra, and 3 great-grandchildren; Lilly, Rosie, and Emmalee; sister, Carol (Dale) Young and brothers, Richard (Donna) Lehl and Donald Clarke Lehl. He was preceded by his parents and one sister. He was loved by all that knew him and will be truly missed.
