Diana Lynn Baker, 71, passed away at her home in Canon City, CO, November 22, 2016. She was born August 7, 1945 to Dwight and Lela (Duncan) Richardson in Wichita, KS. A resident of Canon City for over 25 years, many will remember her from her time working at The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park’s Theater as well as Taco Johns and Lasting Impressions. Before moving to Canon City, she was the Town Clerk of Redcliff, CO for many years. She loved meeting and getting to know people and enjoyed talking with visitors to the region. Above all she loved her family and her grandson Jerome. Diana is survived by her daughter, Michele Baker (Eddie Velasquez) of Gypsum, CO; sister, Sharon (Gary Lee) Ransom of Canon City, CO, and grandson, Jerome Velasquez. She was preceded in death by her parents. At her request, cremation has taken place and service will be scheduled for a future date.
