Joyce C. Miller, matriarch of our family passed peacefully on December 6, 2017 at the age of 85. She was born February 8, 1932 in Dodge City, Kansas to Harry Dice and Dovie (Daniels) Dice. Joyce moved with her family to Colorado when she was seven years old. She attended Canon City schools, graduating from CCHS in 1950. She married Fred A. Miller Jr. and had three wonderful children. She was an interior decorator, car salesman and housewife all wrapped in one. She loved her rose gardens and enjoyed to travel. Joyce had a love for cars with her prize possession being her 1976 Rolls Royce. She is survived by her daughter, Trudy Miller; sons, Randy (Gladie) Miller and Troy (Karen Tracy) Miller; sister, Pauline McGuire and special nephew, Barry O’Riley. She is also survived by sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Lena Dice; husband, Fred Miller, Jr.; brother-in-law, Dick McGuire and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. At her request no formal services will be held. The family thanks each and every one from First Light Home Care and Sangre De Cristo Hospice for their loving care.
