Margaret “Pegi” Louise Brown, 72, passed away June 28, 2016. She was born August 6, 1943 to Lloyd and Ellen (Morris) Lamoreaux in Denver, Colorado. Margaret was a vibrant member of Fremont County and many will remember her for owning the roller skating rink for so many years. She was also a hair stylist, past president of the Canon City Chamber of Commerce and an agent with Keller Williams Real Estate. When Margaret wasn’t busy with her various entrepreneurial activities, you would probably find her at a car show; as she was an avid car enthusiast. She and her husband, Dan Brown, were known to drag race and built several Hot Rods together. After Dan’s passing, she met Bob Kaschebufski at a car show and quickly became involved with car and RV camping clubs he belonged to. Together they were founding members of several Car and RV clubs and relished the time they spent together traveling and being involved with these organizations and meeting so many wonderful people. She is survived by Bob Kaschebufski; her brother Bob Lamoreaux, and extended family members. A Celebration of Life will be held, July 21, 2016 from 11:00AM to 1:00 PM, at the Keller Williams Meeting Room, 910 Main Street, Canon City, CO. Margaret was an avid dog lover so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: Humane Society of Fremont County, 110 Rhodes Avenue, Canon City. CO.
