Shirley Ann Falos Livdahl born April 14, 1928-October 18, 2017
Shirley was born on April 14, 1928 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was raised by her parents John and Violet Falos, along with her six brothers and five sisters. Shirley married the love of her life Donald Byron Livdahl on June 25, 1946. Together they celebrated 63 wedding anniversaries and were blessed with four children, Don Jr., Sherry, Diane and Scott.
Shirley loved dancing, country music, gardening, and decorating. She was a beautiful lady, witty, humorous, and always full of life. Shirley shared many words of wisdom throughout her life, a family favorite is “Live everyday like it’s your last and grab all the gusto you can!” Shirley will be missed, always loved and remembered fondly by all who knew her, and she will never be forgotten.
Shirley’s journey in this life ended, October 18, 2017 in Canon City, Colorado. A special thanks to Progressive Care for the care and comfort they provided our Mom.
Shirley is survived by daughters, Sherry (Larry) Kleven, Diane (Dennis) Stephan and son, Scott (Lyn) Livdahl, siblings, Dwayne, Ronnie, Mary Lou, Janette, Karen and Gary, grandchildren, Kelly, Ryan, Scott, Nick, Matt, Laurie, Trish, Donny, Pete, Danielle, D.J., and 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Don, son, Don Jr. and siblings Harold, Louie, John Dale, Gerry, and Beverly. A private celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date. To honor Shirley, the family suggests a donation to a local children’s charity of your choice.
