Stacey was someone who loved deeply and felt the suffering of others very deeply as well, which is so rare in this world. She got hurt by giving herself in body and soul to help dying people, but she never once complained to me about that. She knew it was her work here. I hope those close to her understand now if not before, how rare a soul she was.
I was lucky enough to love her and far luckier be loved by her, although I am still ashamed how immature I was back then and yet, Stacey still loved me. I still love and think about her all the time and all the good times we had. Thank you lord for putting an angel in the path of an idiot. Thank you for believing in me. I've done great in life and have turned out pretty well. ..actually, better than anybody could have imagined including me. I made it Stace.. love you and see you on the other side .

Oof. Here we are, a year later. And I still miss you like crazy. I felt as when you left a piece of me went with you, and this past year it's been hard to carry on without all of my pieces. But I still get by with the memories I hold so close to my heart. I delivered Raven about a month after you passed and she carried on your middle name, Making it Rosaleigh. She's gorgeous, smart and of course sassy. And I will teach her to be strong, just like you did with me. And she will always know who her Omi is. I miss and love you Mom.

There are earthly hearts mourning our courageous niece, and cousin. And, if you can believe it to be so; there are heavenly souls with shared hearts of a family waiting to hold this beloved one. Surely, she is surrounded in her new home by her: Sister, Leslie; Cousin Allison; Grandma Elizabeth, and Grandpa & Grandmother Hicks. Loving thoughts to my ; Forever Sister, Marilyn, and our Larry, Jason, Kim, Perry, Chris, and Kalei. And, Kalei , know that your Mothers last thoughts were of you. Mothers and daughters are special that way. Keep your hearts as one, and I will being holding you close, no matter the distance.

Miss Marilyn - We are so sorry for your loss. Though we only interacted a few times with her, it was evident that Stacey was such a kind, compassionate soul. We are thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to all Stacey’s family and friends. Having Stacey in my life made every day more fun. Her heartfelt love and concern for those around her was a blessing. The love and devotion she had for her family was beautiful to witness. She was taken from us too soon and too suddenly. It was an honor to know her. Thank you to Marilyn and Larry for raising such a kind soul. Kalei and Chris, your mom talked about and loved you both with her whole heart. Perry, I know you will be a great grandpa with Stacey on your shoulder whispering to you.
