Anna "Betty" Elizabeth Petty-90, of Florence, CO passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, CO on August 17, 2017. She was born on March 22, 1927 in Pueblo, CO. 
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Maude, her two sisters Doris and Thelma, and her husband of 66 years Walter Lee Sr. Betty and Lee lived most of their lives in 
Southern CO where they owned Petty Meat Company, raised Arabian horses, and created their large, loving family. Betty was an active member of the Catholic Church 
and a sister in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was fond of her Pepsi Cola, working her crossword puzzles, traveling, sewing, gardening, and reading novels. 
She was known for her infamous Potica Bread and German Chocolate Cakes. She loved her family, friends, and neighbors and she will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Betty is survived by her 8 children: Becky, Walt, Richard, Guy, Tim, Bonnie, Cathy, and David; along with 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 9th at St. Benedicts Catholic Church located in Florence, CO. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your 
favorite charity in Betty's honor.
