Donald Hedgpeth, 66, of Salida, passed away June 11, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born March 15, 1951 to Avis Donald and Rosemary Virginia (Cline) Hedgpeth in Jackson County, MO. Donald attended South East High School in Kansas City and worked in the parts department for Ford Motor, Co., for 30+ years before his retirement. Donald enjoyed anything to do with cars, especially NASCAR. He also loved the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals, fishing, camping, hunting and listening to Motown Music. But most of all, he loved his family and living life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife Sandy; children, Michael Hedgpeth, Jeffery (Crystal) Hedgepeth; siblings, Marcia Casey, Connie Haynik, Allison Hedgpeth, Stephen Hedgpeth; step-children, Kim (Mike) Downey, Devon Downey, Jimmy Donner, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexander, Camry, Carter, Chelsea, Lee, Samantha, Cody, Colton, Victoria; great-grandchildren, Kylee and Oren.
