Donald D. Mills, son of Ralph and Ida Mills was born April 7, 1934, in Frederick Ok, and passed away July 12, 2017 in the Mojave Desert, Lancaster California. Don moved from Oklahoma with his family to Hotchkiss Colorado and later moved to Canon City. He was a part of Canon City High School class of 1952, after graduation he joined the Air Force for four years. Upon his return from the Air Force he met and married Myrtle Carroll and two children were born to their family. Don worked for Aircraft Mechanics for a period of time. After his and Myrtles divorce he moved to Florida where he met and married Kim. From there they moved to Palmdale, California and later Lancaster, California. Don loved the desert, and would go there often. Don was proceeded in death by his father and mother, 3 sisters and 3 brothers and both wives. He is survived by his son, Melvin and daughter, Dores Ann and one sister, June (Charles) Knight and several nieces and nephews and granddaughter. Grave side services will be August 9, 2017, at 10:00am with military honors at Lakeside Cemetery. Service by Harwood Funeral Home.
