Dudley Francis Burback, 84 died Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 at the Skyline Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canon City, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beverly and his children: Terri Hazelwood (Jerry) of Greers
Ferry, AR; Vincent Burback (Cindy) of Prineville, OR; Christopher Burback of Reno, NV; Kelly Anderson (Joel) of Coal Valley, IL; Kimberly Brokaw of Bettendorf, IA; Jennifer Griswold (Brian) of Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Grandchildren: Jacob, Kyle, Christian, Troy, Daria, Amanda, Alanna, Alexandra, Jordan, Morgan, Carson, and Toby.
Born in Fresno, California the son of Elmer and Pauline Burback. Graduate of Fresno State University where he played basketball and went on to play for the ABA Harvesters.
He owned and operated Dudley’s Davenport Pizza Works and various other locations.
After decades of being a successful restauranteur, he retired to picturesque Ranch of the Rockies in Hartsel, Colorado on top of Trout Creek Pass with his beautiful wife Beverly. He proceeded to fulfilled his life-long dream of returning to the mountains, where he enjoyed riding his horses, shooting his guns, and fly fishing.
