Lawrence (Larry) Noble, 85, of Cañon City, CO, obtained his eternal reward in Heaven June 4, 2018. He was born May 30, 1933 to Lawrence and Doris (Dowler) Noble in Florence, CO. He joined the army when he was barely 17. He finished his last class through the army and came home to get permission from his father to go to Korea and graduate with his class. He graduated from Cañon City High School in 1951. He then got on a bus to serve his country in the Army during the Korean War. Lawrence married, Donna Brown, the love of his life in July of 1953 and spent many happy years traveling the world during his time in the service. After he left the army he went to work for Boeing in Washington. The family then moved to Cañon City in the 1970. He was a long-time salesman at different jobs but was most known as the McNess Home Products salesman who went door to door. Larry left a lasting impression on many of his customers. Larry always had a story or a joke to share, and never met a stranger. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by many. Survived by his children, Daughter-in-law Debbie Noble, Donald Noble, Greg (Donna Rae) Noble, Cheryl (James) McDaniel, James (Lisa) Noble; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and his brother Danny Noble of South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, parents, sons, Kenneth and Gerald. A graveside service will be held at 10AM, Monday, June 25th at Lakeside Cemetery, Canon City, CO.
