LouAnn McRee Harris, 70, passed away at her home in Penrose, CO, on July 16, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born July 4, 1947 to Jesse and Vera (Herring) McRee in Whitehouse, TX. LouAnn married Steve Harris, the love of her life, in 1962 and have two children. She was a very spirited lady and cared deeply for people. This was reflective in her volunteer work for hospice. LouAnn was also an avid reader, loved garage sales but most of all loved children and her family. She was a member of Penrose Baptist church in Penrose, CO. She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter Leisa (Derek) Egbert and son, Stephen (Suzie) Harris; grandchildren, Heather (Joe) Colletti and Kiana Harris; siblings Jack McRee, Dot Painter, Jean Forrest. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joe and Billy McRee. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M., July 21, 2017 at Penrose Baptist Church, 502 Fremont Ave., Penrose, CO.
