On Thursday, November, 22, 2018, Margaret B. Beck, loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend left this world and went Home. She was at peace and happy. She loved her children. Her passion was art and music. She played the piano and learned to draw from her grandmother, Emma Peacock. She loved horseback riding and people. She went to school to become a missionary. Her intentions were to travel the world for the Lord. She finished high school with honors and went to Missionary School in Canada; however, during her first year, appendicitis took her out of school and she lost her funding. She never returned to Canada. She married and started a family.
Margaret looked upon her children as her greatest accomplishment in life. She was extremely talented and her gifts were many. She upholstered furniture, rebuilt cars and flipped houses. She made all five of her children's clothes by hand and all of the blankets on the beds in the home usually from fabric scraps. Her life was a coat of many colors and a woven tapestry of love.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, Wm. Oscar Brown and Dora Elizabeth (Wilson)Brown. Her brothers; Clyde Brown and Lloyd Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wm. Beck, her sons Gary Beck and Kenneth "Ed" Gilliland.
