Mildred Louise Barber, 91, passed away October 31, 2017 in Florence, Colorado. She was born May 8, 1926 to Frank and Geraldine (Hawkes) Lyman in Montague, Massachusetts. Mildred worked in various retail positions throughout her working life, but was most passionate about her family and raising her children. When Mildred was not busy working, she loved cooking, gardening and crafts. She is survived by her son, Robert Lane, two daughters, Judy Lane and Janet Nye, and son-in-law, Robert Pings. She was preceded by her parents. Donations may be made to Sange de Cristo Hospice in Canon City, CO or Forgetmenot Care Home in Florence, CO.
