Ruby Elsie Burt, 48, passed away April 10, 2017 at her home in Florence, CO. She was born November 26, 1968 to Alford and Betty (James) Burt in Montrose, CO. Ruby loved spending time a home and would spend her hours doing crafts. She especially loved Plastic Canvas Crafts. When she wasn't busy with her needle work, she loved being on her computer. She is survived by her sister, Rachel Jones (Chris Shaw); partner, Vinetta Kessler; step-children, Curt and Tammy Freeman; uncles, Bruce, Jody; aunt, Bonnie; nephews, Johnathan Burt-Ahern, Taryn Burt, Jediah; nieces, Elizabeth (Garrett), Lorraine; cousins, Kristie Torgler and Angel and Michael and Misty Mahannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, uncles, Mike, Kim, Jesse and aunt, Peggy . A celebration of life will be held from 1-4pm, Thursday, April 13, 2016 at the Florence Senior, 100 Railroad Street, Florence, CO.
