Alexzander Nelson-Garcia

On July 17, 2025 in the early morning hours Alexzander Nelson-Garcia(Jan 13, 2012) finished his fight. He peacefully left us here and began his next journey with Jesus as his ever present Mom held his hand and his loved ones surrounded him.

He was brave, strong and a true cancer warrior. Alex made the tough decisions-his treatment, his end of life choices and who he left his belongings to...He did not allow the cancer to define or rule him.

Alex was a true friend, loved his pets, was sweet and fiesty, kind and ornery and definitely unique. He was witty, quick with comebacks, a joker and a prankster. He laughed with his whole being and loved fiercely all wrapped up in a small giant of a soul. He liked to cook, play video games and 3D print things.

He truly touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Until we meet Alex again he has left behind to continue his memory; His dedicated Mom Dezarai, his sidekick Sister Lindzey, Father George, Stepdad Thomas, Best Friend Dominic, many Grandparents Siblings Uncles & Aunts both blood and adopted.

Alex was greeted in heaven by his Great Great Grandparents and his Uncle Paul.

We will honor Alex on August 1, 2025 at 3pm at the Steeple Event Center 701 Macon Ave Canon City, CO, 81212..
