Gus Jr. enjoyed many activities throughout his life many were side effects of life on main street in Florence for 60 years. Like his father, he was very involved in serving the community with many fellow merchants. His passion for the Volunteer Fire Dept. for 59 years would be time will spent. His many other endeavors range from schools and health services to business development. He enjoyed tote gotes and motorcycles with family and friends in the early days and the fall was time for hunting and riding ATV’s along the front range. His time in Alaska was special for him during a big harvest of sockeye salmon with family over the years, many stories were shared at home. He enjoyed his visits at the coffee shops with friends and gathering of Goombahs in the showroom on any given day at Vendetti’s on main street. At home he would enjoy gardening or working in the shop, traveling around the state with his wife or to one of their favorite restaurants. His last four years he lived with other friends under the amazing care of Hildebrand Care Center with his wife by his side as always for nearly 70 years. He will be missed!
