Betty Fleming

Betty Marie Yergert Fleming was born to George and Susy Yergert on February 17, 1933 in LaJunta Co and went to be with the Lord June 21, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Fleming Jr and her siblings Paul Yergert, Herman Yergert, Martha Sturges, Bertha Sorenson, Elsie Fleming and step grandson Greg Fleming. 

Betty left behind 4 step children Donna Haner (Bob Edwards), Raymond Fleming (Dianne),Kenny Fleming (Teresa) and Susan Baker. There are 4 grand kids and 

5 Great grand kids. 

at grand kids and many nieces and nephews. 

Betty graduated from Rocky Ford High School and went to St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing and University of Colorado school of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1973 as Captain in Nurses Staff. 

Betty loved music and loved to sing. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and choir and participated in several more local choirs. Betty donated her body to The Anatomical Board of the state of Colorado. A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 10, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at Shepherd Of The Hills Lutheran Church.
