In the early morning hours of the 3rd of July, 2025, Bobby D. Gall slipped peacefully, from his home, in Florence, CO., into his Lord and Savior's arms.
Bobby was born on December 14, 1932, in Dodge City, Kansas to Howard and Dorothy (Pottorff) Gall. His family moved from Kansas to Salida, Colorado where he graduated from Salida High School in 1953. The family then moved to Howard, Colorado and owned a small farm.
After graduation, he served in the Army and was mustered out as a Military Policeman. Upon returning home he was employed by the REA as a lineman and worked for them until 1966. He moved his family from Buena Vista, CO., to Florence, CO in April of 1966. He worked for the Southern Colorado Power Company (whose name changed several times) and retired in January of 1994.
Mr. Gall became a Master Mason on March 23, 1974. He was the Rainbow Dad for his daughter, Jonie, when she was the Worthy Advisor of the Florence Chapter, Order of the Rainbow Girls. He became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star along with his wife, Janice, in January of 1977. He served as the Worthy Patron of Florence Chapter #21 along with his wife Janice as Worth Matron.
Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Janice Maedean (Church) Gall and two daughters, Jonie Grisenti (Joseph, Sr.) and Debbie Gall. His four grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Grisenti, Jr. (Blair), Jennifer Ann Grisenti, Lindsey Ruth (Hackworth) Witz, (Brandon) and John Howard Hackworth and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at The Steeple Event Center, 701 Macon Ave., Canon City CO. Visitation at 9:00 A.M., with funeral services to follow at 10:00 A.M. with Masonic and Military services.
