Bobby "BJ" Hearne

Bobby Jay “BJ” Hearne. A landscaper and lifelong resident of Fremont County, CO died unexpectedly on Thursday July 9th, 2020 at the age of 44 in Canon City, Colorado.

Bobby is survived by his parents; Deanie and Jay Lynn Hearne, sisters; Sheena (Kevin) Crawford, and Tara Pearson, Brother Rusty B. Corley, sister Katie Hearne,  adopted daughter Lexi Burns, and nieces and nephews, Dakota, Brooks, Addie, Felicia,  Cameron, Austin, Savanah, Wyatt, Kevin and aunt Ann Barr and grandpa Dave.  He is predeceased by grandparents Ben and Linda Addington, cousin Deana K. and uncle Alan Barr, grandpa Robert Hearne and grandma Irene Hannon.

Bobby was born in Saline, KS on December 10th, 1975 to Deanie and Jaylynn Hearne. He went to school in Florence, Colorado.  Always a hard worker, BJ started to work at the Dog Track when he was 15 as well as the dairy in Florence. However, he soon found his passion with nature and began his career at Brady’s Garden and Spa.  At the time of his passing, BJ had completed his 28th year working at Brady’s.

Bobby was a devoted brother, nephew, son, and father to many. He enjoyed anything outdoors and loved his plants. He loved riding motorcycles and hanging out with friends and family. He was the life of the party, and could brighten the room with his eyes, and smile.  BJ was a collector….of everything. He loved family functions and didn’t miss a BBQ! Kids and animals were drawn to BJ, and one extra special little girl touched BJs heart, Lexi Burns, was loved so much by BJ. She was brought into his life and became his pride and joy. He loved his dogs and loved camping trips as he was an all-around adventurist soul.

Join the family at Veterans Park at 4pm, Friday, July 17th where they will meet and then process in a motorcycle motorcade to BJ’s Celebration of Life.
