Christopher J. Lucero

Christopher Joseph Lucero passed away on January 25, 2026 in Canon City, Colorado. Born on July 26, 1981.

Chris lived a life marked by kindness, humor, devotion. He was known for his hard work ethic, and love for family, and friends. And he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Chris is survived by his parents Darren and Diane Potter, son Lucas Lucero, grandchildren, Elijah and Adrian Lucero, brother Bobby Lucero, sister Roxanne Ortiz, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by sister Sonya Kael, niece Grace, nephew Christopher, and other family members. Those closest to him will remember his passion for skydiving, music, and the love he had for his best friend Mazzy.

A celebration of life will be held on January 31st at 2:00 P.M. at Skate Park in Canon City, Colorado. Chris will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
