Clara "Terry" B. Irey

Clara “Terry” B. Irey, age 88, loving mother, grandmother and GG, passed peacefully on December 12, 2021 surrounded by her family. 

Clara B. (Haines) Irey was born May 6, 1933 in her family farm home in Anson, Kansas, to Everett Haines and Winnie (Wegand) Haines. 

She married Robert L. Irey on June 17, 1951. To this union they had a son, Gary L. Irey on August 17, 1952. 

She enjoyed square dancing, jeeping and traveling with her husband. She also loved baking, gardening, canning, spending time with her family, and most importantly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She knew no stranger and always had a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert L. Irey; three brothers, Carl Haines, Charles Haines, Frank Haines and one sister Willadene Crites. 

Survivors include; her loving son, Gary Irey and his wife Debra, of Fountain, CO; 6 Granddaughters; Nikki Boozer (Kevin) of Baltimore, MD; Jessica Irey (Justin) of Conway Springs, KS; Vanessa Irey (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO; Lindsey Coley and her husband Landon of Argonia, KS; Alexandra King and her husband Andrew of Wellington, KS; Dusti Irey (Adrian) of Wellington, KS. 

19 Great grandchildren; Donovan, Braeden, Kingston, Marissa, Jorja, Severide, Carter, Alexis, Maverick, Lynnon, Lawson, Jaxson, Ronin, Jasper, Lexie, Draven, Marlii, Tylii, and Draivyn; many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. 

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be offered at harwoodfunerals.com
