Daniel Lee Crane

Danny L. Crane, born June 27, 1979.  He lived a full life with family and friends.  Danny was a CDOC staff member for 20 plus years. While he worked at BVCC, he was on the tracking/ERT team. He was also a Fireman on the Buena Vista Fire Department from 2007 to 2014.  As a Mason, Danny was initiated as an entered apprentice in 2010 and raised to a Master Mason in 2012.  He was passed as a 32nd degree Mason in 2012.  He will be missed by all his Masonic brothers.  He had many hobbies, indoors and outdoors to include camping, hunting & fishing, family gatherings, BBQs and a friendly game of pool.  Throughout his life, he held many titles: husband, brother, son, uncle.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  Danny loved all animals from his pitbull, Riley, to the pet chickens.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father who he is now re-united with on this day, June 9, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Fremont County Pathfinder Park Auditorium, 6655 State Hwy 115, Florence, CO on June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
