Dayne Walker Grimes

Dayne Walker Grimes, 22, of Canon City, passed away Friday April 2, 2021.  Dayne was born January 26, 1999 in Canon City, to Jessie Bell.  As a youth, Dayne enjoyed sports, playing both football and baseball through middle school.  Dayne had a zest for life, and an easy smile to light up any room.  He was always quick to help those in need, never judging others.  Dayne was a hard-working man.  He worked as a driller for the mine in Cripple Creek and in Alaska, as well as many of his own ventures, always dreaming big, desiring to take care of his family and friends.  Dayne was a paintball enthusiast and loved spending time playing with friends.  He thoroughly enjoyed being with people, especially friends and family, but if he met you once, a stranger became a friend.  Dayne is survived by his beautiful daughter Rayne, his parents, Jessie (Darren) Bell, brothers Timothy (Shana) and Alex (Morgan) Gall, Michael Bell, sister, Tessa (Jaykub) Grimes, grandparents, Ralph Mort, Wanda (Michael) Davis, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Memorial Service will be held at the Vineyard Church, 245 S. Raynolds Avenue, Canon City, CO, Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow.
