Deborah Jan Howell

On September 29, 2020, Deborah "Debbie" Howell passed away peacefully at age 67 after a brief illness following knee replacement surgery.  She always showed great courage in facing life's challenges, and she did it with a smile.  Despite the pain, Debbie came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Debbie was born to Jerry & Donna Farris on June 26, 1953.  She graduated from Fowler HS in 1971.  A few years later, she married Tom Howell and together they had two children, Cheryl (Stephen) and Phillip.  She also has three grandchildren, Rikor, Aleksys, and Jordin.  Many other people also considered Debbie their surrogate mother and grandmother.

Debbie loved horses, reading Louis L'Amour stories, rummaging through estate sales, refinishing antique furniture, and perfecting her signature dandelion wine.

The family would like to thank the Sangre de Cristo Community Care for all their care they gave Debbie.  She requested cremation with no services.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her favorite charity, Front Range Equine Rescue.
