Delores Jene Elliott

On, December 20, 2021, Delores Jene Elliott, died peacefully at her home in Florence, CO.  

Jene was born on November 23, 1936 in Springfield, IL to Harold and Eva Hadley.  In 1952, she moved to Ulysses, KS, where she met and married the love of her life, Jerry Elliott.  They were blessed with four children.  In 1957 they moved to Florence, CO where she lived until her death.

Jene was a homemaker and very passionate about her family.  Her family was the most important thing in her life.  She was an avid Denver Bronco fan and didn't miss watching a game.

Jene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry, her son Jerry and three siblings.  She is survived by three daughters.  Sheree Mullins, Terry (Kirk) Nelson and Carrie Elliott.  Grandchildren James (Steve) Elliott, Adam (Lisa) Elliott, Clint Elliott, Jeremy (Cariss) Mullins, Jerry Lee Mullins, Ryan (Bailey) Nelson, Christen (Kira) Nelson, Ashley (Casey) Christensen, Shane Serviss and Niel Serviss.  Great Grandchildren, Llewyn and Bri Elliott; Caleb, Ehtan, Garet, Janel and Abi Mullins; Mia, Junior and Kayson Mullins; Roxanne, Maddox, Cameron and Ellie Nelson; Kendra Christensen and Eighven Serviss. Sister, Rita Stanley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM, December 30, 2021 at Faith Journey Church of the Nazarene in Florence, CO.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
