In loving memory of Dianna Marie (Threet) Heinen, who peacefully passed away on December 27th, 2023, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her cherished family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Dianna entered this world on April 30th, 1952, in Canon City, Colorado, born to Ruth and Scott Threet. Dianna is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Heinen, and leaves behind a legacy of love through her four children: Justin (Cara) Heinen, Preston Heinen, Tiffany (Terry) Johnson, and Alissa (Christopher) Carriger. Dianna was a proud grandmother to Matthew and Andrew Johnson, Naomi, Zoe, and Liberty Heinen, Isaiah and Dianna Carriger, and Abigail Murphey.
In addition to her husband and children, Dianna is survived by her mother, Ruth Threet Meadows, three sisters, and three brothers: Martha Peterson, Linda (Bob) Russell, Diana Bettis, Jim (Pam) Threet, Rod (Charlene) Threet, and Paul (Sydney) Aden. She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Threet.
Dianna devoted nearly two decades to a fulfilling career as a registered nurse, from 1998 until her well-deserved retirement in 2017. Her joys in life included the warmth of family gatherings, attending church, practicing the art of crochet, indulging in movie nights, savoring the thrill of shoe shopping, and finding inspiration in HGTV shows.
A celebration of Dianna's life will take place at Wetmore Baptist Church, located at 26252 State Hwy 96, Wetmore, CO 81253, on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2023, at 10 am. Following the church funeral service, dinner will be served at the church, with graveside services held at Mountain Vale Memorial Gardens after the dinner. All who knew and loved Dianna are welcome to join in honoring her memory.
