Dorothy Lucille (Stilnovich) Baccarella

Dorothy Lucille Baccarella, 96, a lifelong resident of Fremont County passed away August 30, 2022.  She was born November 6, 1925 to Mike and Clementine (Buddy) Stilnovich in Canon City, CO.  Dorothy graduated from Canon City High School with the Class of '43.  She went on to marry Phillip Baccarella, the love of her life. In addition to being a life-long resident, Dorothy was very active in her local community of Rockvale, CO working with local clubs, lodges and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  She volunteered to support elections as needed and various local activities and was a doting grandmother to Brandon, Tanner and Jenna and their families.  

She is survived by her son, Joseph of Castle Rock.  She was preceded in death by her husband Phil, daughter Kris and sisters Rose and Catherine.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 1016 Mystic Avenue, Canon City, CO with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery.  A private viewing will be held at 9:00a.m., prior to the funeral mass.  Condolences at www.harwoodfunerals.com.  Arrangements entrusted to Harwood Funeral Home.
