Ector Manuel Rodriguez 65, of Florence passed away unexpectedly September 30, 2018. He was born in Raymondville Texas on December 30, 1952 to Santa Anna and Estefana Rodriguez. In his younger years he served his country proudly in the US Army and was honorably discharged. Many will remember Ector from Fremont Lanes Bowling Alley which he owned and operated for over 20 years. He was known to the community for his kind demeanor and willingness to help those in need. When he wasn’t working, he took time to enjoy life which included spending time in the mountains, hunting and fishing. Ector also enjoyed relaxing while trying his luck in Cripple Creek. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. He is survived by his son Anthony Rodriguez, wife Evaline Alba, step-daughter Andrea and (John) Cooper, siblings Enedelia and (Frank) Sustayta, Alfredo Rodriguez, Edwardo and (Leticia) Rodriguez, Delfino Rodriguez; grandchildren Stephanie, Larissa, Conrad and great grandson Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents Santa Anna and Estefana Rodriguez, son Augustine Rodriguez, siblings Santa Anna Rodriguez, Jr., and San Juanita Rodriguez.
