Edward Dean Boughan, lovingly known as Eddie, was born on December 19, 1953, to Mary Barnes and Fred Boughan. He lived a life centered on love, family, and hard work.
Edward married Mary Wynn, and together they were blessed with six children: Sean, Jacob, Tabitha, Sabrina, James, and Travis. He worked tirelessly throughout his life in the mining field to provide for his family, always putting their needs before his own. His dedication and strong work ethic were a true reflection of his character.
In his later years, Edward found companionship and love with his long-term girlfriend, Barbara Parks, who brought him happiness and comfort.
Eddie cherished his role as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He adored his 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He often took his grandbabies for walks, creating simple but meaningful memories that will be treasured forever. He loved making things and working with his hands, finding joy in creating and building. He was a gentle soul who only ever wanted to be loved — and he was deeply loved by those who knew him.
Edward is survived by his children: Sean, Jacob, Tabitha and her husband Jeremey, Sabrina, James, and Travis; his mother, Mary Barnes; his sisters, Stella and Charlene; his 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and many other family members who will carry his memory in their hearts.
He is reunited in death with his father, Fred Boughan; his sister, Mary; and his daughter-in-law, Alicia Boughan.
Edward’s legacy of love, quiet strength, creativity, and devotion to family will live on through the many lives he touched.
