Elwood Thomas Loeber, Jr.

Elwood Thomas Loeber, Jr., our beloved brother, went to be with his Lord May 17, 2020 from his home in Florence.

He was born April 13, 1960 to Elwood and Virginia (McLaughlin Copper) Loeber, Sr., in Florence, Colorado

A lifelong resident of Florence, Elwood graduated from Florence High School, Class of '78 and also obtained an associates degree.  He married Bonnie Javernick spending 20 years together before her passing.  A carpenter by trade and talented wood crafter by hobby. He was also a devoted caretaker for his father until his passing.

He is survived by his brother Keith (Jackie) McKissick; sisters Shirley Loeber, Linda (John) Gilbert, Thelma (Gary) Cook, Sharon (Perry) Addington, Sr..and Arlene (Howard) Purcell) of IL,  as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill Loeber, Sr., Ed Loeber., Durwood Loeber, David Copper, Raymond Copper; sisters Nona Freeman and step-sister Marilyn Loeber Zastrow.

Viewing will be Thursday,  May 21, 2020 from 1-4pm at the Harwood Funeral Home, 516 N. 10th Street, Canon City, Colorado 81212.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home will regulate the number of persons allowed in at one time and masks will be required.
