Frances "Fran" Masse

Frances “Fran” Kay Masse was born on September 6th, 1956 and left this earth on June 16th, 2023 to live in the kingdom of the Lord.  She was a 30-year retiree from the Colorado Department of Corrections. In recent years, she spent winters in Bullhead City, AZ and summers in Cañon City, CO.  Fran led a very active life and had a passion for playing golf.  She was a member of multiple ladies golf leagues in AZ and CO and was also a member of the Cowboy Church in Beulah, CO. She was born from the union of Roger and Nellie Casper.  Roger preceded her in death.  She will be deeply missed and remembered by her mother Nellie Scavarda (Walker); one son Jeremy (Jennifer) Wilson of Houston, TX, two grandchildren Declan and Genevieve; three sisters: Dixie (Bill) Reed of Bullhead City, Debbie (Jim) Elledge of Cañon City, Trena Goodwin of Cañon City; one brother Kevin (Shawn) Casper of Cañon City; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.  Funeral services will be held on June 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Steeple Event Center at 701 Macon Ave, Cañon City, CO 81212.
