Franklin "Frank" D. Addington, 84, passed away October 5, 2021 at Joni Fair Hospice House. He was born November 26, 1936 to Elton and Alma (Orman) Addington in Elkhart, Kansas. After High School, Frank served his country in the United States Marines. He married Viola "Vi" Thomas, the love of his life in 1962 and raised five children. Frank was a welder by trade and worked many years at Portland Cement. When he wasn't working, Frank loved to hunt, fish and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vi; children, Jerry (Chris) Dennis, Sherry Nish, Frank Addington, Jr., Glenda (Richard) Gordon; siblings, Anna Addington, Perry (Sharon) Addington, Ken (Betty) Addington, Steve (Kathy) Addington, Susie Sword; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Linda Duke; son-in-law, Chuck Nish; grandchildren, Jennifer, Chelsea and Blake; and siblings, Donald Addington, Twila Starr, Jerry Addington, Levi Addington, Nora Miller, Ben Addington, Elton Addington and Ethel Eastman.
