Gail Susan Patton, born January 18, 1948, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Patton family ranch in Colorado.
Gail was born to Dr. O. Robert and Nancy Adams in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was the oldest of three children.
Gail married D. Kent Patton on June 14, 1968. After living shortly in Cañon City, Colorado, they went on to make their home in Murrieta, California in 1969. There, she and Kent ran a successful veterinary practice and raised their four children. In 2008, they moved to Beatty, Oregon, and ran Sping Creek Ranch, raising hay and cattle.
Gail's children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. Her kindness touched the heart of everyone she met. She was famous for her baking and hugs, and helped everyone who needed it, always putting the needs of others in front of her own. She stayed involved in many organizations from 4H to the Cattlewomen's Association. Gail had a degree in music from University of California, Riverside and gave lessons and played the flute and piano throughout her life.
Gail is survived by her husband, Kent; children Aaron, Anita, Matt, and Paige; and grandchildren Cole, Carter, Cahlea, Kora, Claire, and Connor, as well as her siblings, Bob and Lynne Adams. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services will he held in Murrieta, California on June 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Monteleone Meadows.
Memorial gatherings will take place at the Colorado Patton ranch on May 21st and in Oregon, date to be determined.
