Jacqueline J Garcia

Jacqueline Joan Jacobson Garcia passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born on October 1, 1934, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Lullu Belle Baker Jacobson and Norman P. Jacobson.

Jacqueline was the second of four daughters. She was preceded in death by her sisters Donna S. Jacobson Warde and Patricia R. Jacobson Pence, and is survived by her sister LaVonne P. Jacobson Beagle.

A devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church since childhood, Jacqueline loved to serve her Lord. Throughout her life, she faithfully served in many roles, including Sabbath School teacher, Sabbath School Superintendent, Deaconess, Community Service Leader, and Prayer Team Coordinator. Her life of service reflected her deep faith and commitment to sharing God's love with others.

She was the beloved wife of Norberto "Sonny" Garcia and a devoted mother to Norbert R. Garcia Jr. and Katherine L. Jones. Jacqueline found her greatest joy in her family and was a loving grandmother to Jeremey D. Garcia, Melissa R. Gibson, Dr. Nicole M. Garcia, Philip D. Albrecht, Sonny D. Albrecht, Katherine J. McDougall, Dawn L. Sanchez, and Luanne M. Jones. She was further blessed with 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Jacqueline will be remembered for her steadfast faith, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to family and service. She is now resting in her Lord, awaiting His glorious return.
