Jade Behrndt Obituary

Jade Mason Behrndt, was born on December 23, 1996 in Colorado Springs, CO, and passed away September 4, 2024, in Canon City, CO at the age of 27. Jade was known for his love and passion of trees. He started an arborist company at the age of 18 without anything except a vision and passion. As a little boy, instead of stopping to throw rocks, Jade would stop at any tree he could climb. He used to tell his mom, "I love trees! I want to live in a tree one day", and that's exactly what he did every day he was able to work! Jade was a hard worker and an entrepreneur through and through. His passion for plants didn't end with his work. Jade loved gardening. He and his fiance, Lauren, had the dream to buy land and live off it. In fact, some of his seedlings are currently growing in other people's gardens in our community this summer.

Besides his passion for trees and plants, Jade was a phenomenal father and brother. He took his role seriously as being the first born. Sometimes he was hard on siblings, but that was because he loved them very much and believed in their potential. He also loved his children very much. He was a great father to both his biological children and his step-children.

Growing up, Jade's role model was Steve Irwin. He loved animals and he loved adventures. His greatest adventure was his relationship with the Lord. Jade battled demons in his life and was not perfect, but he was honest about his struggles and loved the Lord with all his heart. Shanon said no matter if they were arguing or not, Jade would always call to say he loved her. Those that were in his life, he loved passionately and would have given his life for them.

Jade is survived by his children Allison and Elliot with previous wife Karissa; his children Eden and their son on the way, as well as his step-children Carter and Addilynn all with fiance Lauren; his siblings Sebastian, Christian, Eliana, Paden, River, Lucius, Phoebe, Lincoln, and London; his mother Shanon McWilliams; his father Shane Berhndt; step parents, grandparents, and many cousins, uncles, and aunts. To say Jade will be missed by many is a severe understatement. Let us hold fast to the hope of Heaven and Christ's soon return!
