James E. Garnett, 75, Born on October 23, 1947, affectionately known as Jim, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023 with his family by his side. Preceded in death are his Mother Helen Garnett, Brothers Robert, Raymond, and Thomas Garnett, and sister Mary Lou Gradisar. Survived by his children Candace (Jerry) Humphrey, Shawn (Michelle) Garnett, Christopher (Crystal) Garnett, Brother John (Gloria) Garnett, Sister Jane Garnett, Sisters-in-law Doris and Kathy Garnett, and Brother-in-law Gabe Gradisar. Grandchildren Adryn (Inessa) Salas, Haylee Salas, Patryk Salas, Krystian Richardson, and his four-legged grandsons Tux, B, and Alvin. Great-granddaughters Adalyn and Sarraya. Long time friend Rudy Sandoval and his “brother from another mother” Steve Beaudin. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Jim served in the Army in Vietnam and after discharge, worked for Coca-Cola, Moore Concrete and Climax Mines. He finally realized his dream of owning his own appliance business and did so for over two decades. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
