James “JD” Demichael Parker of Florence, CO., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 67 after a long battle of stage 4 lung cancer. James was born on December 29, 1954 to Helen Daniels and Bob Parker in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen Daniels and Bob Parker, his siblings Mark Anthony Parker, Jewel Sizemore, John Thomas Daniels, Robert Parker and Roger Neace. Those left to celebrate his life include his wife of 20 years, Kathy Parker, his siblings Caroline Bernhardt, Barb (Mike) Leach, Stanley Parker, Debbie Cornish, Liz Sizemore, his children Tammy (Danny) Cornella, Suzie (Kyle) Lorenz, Robert Parker, Jessica (Joe) Williams, JD Pollard, Justin (Amber) Pollard his grandchildren Brittany Cornella, Anthony Cornella, Ozzy Lorenz, Derek Lorenz, Preston Sandoval, Devin Canchola, Jimmie Lynn Williams, Kelsie Pollard, Keaden Pollard, Aurora Pollard, Roxann Pollard and Tobias Pollard. James enjoyed dinking around the house and starting new projects. He was a loving Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather and he will be deeply missed.
Cremation was handled through Harwood Funeral Home. At his request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
