Jimmie Hasty of Graham, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 18th, 2023 at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family. He was formerly of Canon City, Colorado.He was born December 17th, 1937 in Lexington, Nebraska to Robert and Avis (Clark) Hasty. He married Violet Lucille Smith, who was the love of his life. Together, they raised two sons. Jimmie spent his working years in tractor trailer sales. First in Pueblo for International Trucks, and then, in Canon City for Triangle Trucks handling part time sales and records. Lastly, he worked for NAPA handling parts and sales. When he wasn't working, you would probably find him with a good book in hand or enjoying an outing of movies or plays with his wife. He leaves behind:
Darren E. Hasty of Haltom City (Fort Worth), Texas and Timothy Hasty of Florence, Colorado, his two sons. Tabitha Hasty and Tommy Hasty of Texas, his grandchildren. Bryson, Carlee, and Riley, his great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, and his sister Mavis Stone. Graveside service will be held Friday July 28, 2023, 11 A.M. at Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City, Colorado
