Jimmie Sansbury Obituary

Jimmie Foster Sansbury was born on May 10, 1947 to his Loving parents Robert and Marcile Sansbury in Hickory, NC. It didn't take long before he would have two little sisters and many cousins around him all the time. Being born a Taurus he would show what being the Bull meant. At a young age his family moved to Maine out in the Boondocks. With snow like you've never seen, and a Bear he would fight off that frequented the Outhouse. They would find themselves back in the hills of NC when he was a teen, where he would run shine through the back roads in his custom GTO. At 17 he would enlist. With the Vietnam War in full swing, and when drafting Men was required. He did what any young man his age, that wouldn't get drafted did, He Joined. He would enter the Marines and after fighting in Nam, would return home and enlist in another branch. He would say the Airforce, but the military called it Army Aircorps. He would in time go into the Navy and retire through that Branch. He would serve and fight in several more wars, or conflicts overseas. Along the way receiving medals, honors, and Bronze Stars. His accomplishments wouldn't be overlooked. With Purple hearts, battle medals, countless Bronze Stars, expert rifle and pistol medals, certificates, citations, and ribbons recieved. Making him a very Decorated Soldier. He would also work many types of jobs throughout this time and after the military. Like a Candy factory, making Airplane parts, a ceramics business, and doing security.  He would be blessed with three wives. Joyce, Patricia, Joann, and Patricia again. When he married Patricia he would gain a bonus Daughter, whom he would love as his own. When he married Joann he would gain 5 more bonus children, that he would Love and raise as his own.
