John Lawrence Ary

John Lawrence Ary, born on January 2, 1944, in Thayer, Missouri, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on March 13, 2025 at his home in Canon City, Colorado, with his family by his side.

John was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Nellie Ary and his beloved son, Jeffrey Lynn Ary.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Weise, who he shared a life full of love, adventure, and joy, son Chad Weise and grandchildren Wyatt and Khloe Weise.  He is also survived by his first wife Phyllis Ary and his legacy continues through their children, John Paul (Carrie) Ary and Paula TerMeer.  John was immensely proud of his grandchildren, Sarah (Nick) Phillips, Josh (Christy) Ary, Samantha (Cooper) Trahern, Libby (Kevin) Czarnecki, and Nellie & Vivian TerMeer and he took great joy in his seven great-grandchildren, Addison, Hudson & Landon Phillips, Jett  & Avery Ary and Charley & William Trahern.  He is also survived by his brother James Ary and nephews Jim Ary and Grant (JoAnne) Ary.  Shirley Weise and Eugene & Tami Jackson also held a special place in John's heart.

John's presence will be missed, but his life will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.  He taught us all to work hard and be grateful.

Please join his family in honoring him on Sunday, March 23, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the Pathfinder Even Center.  Dress is casual, as John would have liked.  Lunch reception to follow.
