John Nelson James

John Nelson James, 54, of Canon City passed away October 1, 2023 at his home.  He was born June 14, 1969 to Robert Nelson and Vina Arlene (McGee) James in Florence, Colorado.

John is survived by his siblings Glen (Mauriann) Jones, Thomas Jones, Carolyn (Tom) Davis, Becky (Gabe) DeGabriele, Barbara Addington, Beverly Masse, Charlotte James, Patricia James; daughters Tiffany, Lexi and Sammy and numerous cousins and extended family.  He was called home by the Lord with the belief that God is Love and he loved and was loved.  His memory will forever serve as an inspiration to live life with love, kindness, and thoughtfulness.  Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Mountain Vale Memorial Gardens, Canon City, CO 81212.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
