Joshua Kane Glasser

Joshua Kane Glasser, 46, recently of Salida, Colorado passed away June 21, 2023 near Wellsville. Josh was born December 13, 1976 in Minnesota and later relocated with his family to Coaldale, Colorado. His early years were spent with his brothers exploring the mountains of Fremont and Chaffee Counties. Josh was a free spirit with a big smile and a twinkle in his eyes, always ready for the next adventure. As an adult he was an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman following in his father’s footsteps. He spent many years in construction but found his niche in excavation and heavy equipment operation. Josh leaves behind a twelve year old daughter- the only girl to ever fully capture his heart, two brothers and their families, his mother and stepfather. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother. Josh’s last years were fraught with difficulty and turmoil. We who knew and loved him longest and best wished him happier days ahead. We now wish him peace. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
