Kenneth Wade Carter, age 64, tragically passed away on April 13 th, 2022, at his home in Canon City, Colorado. Kenny was born on June 8 th, 1957 in Brownsville, Texas, to James and Deloris Carter. Growing up, Kenny spent his days ocean fishing, water skiing, and dirt biking alongside his brothers. Later in life, he worked as a machine maintenance mechanic at Bekaert in Rogers, Arkansas, for 18 years before medically retiring. Kenny had a passion for the Lord and ministr y. He served as a Deacon and AWANA Leader at Mountain Bible Church and was a beloved member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association, where he was voted in as Road Captain for Canon Crusaders. When he wasn't serving the Lord, Kenny spent his days baking, gardening, and playing cards. Kenny cherished his family and treasured his 12 grandchildren. Kenny is survived by his wife of nearly 11 years, Reba Carter. His siblings Lonnie (Linda, deceased) Carter and Rick (Connie) Carter. Children: Amber (Jesse) Boggess, Kelby (Brianna) Carter, Anabelle Ketcher, Kyle Carter, and stepdaughter Maranda (Barrett) Jensen. Grandchildren: Harley Carter, Jacinth Boggess, Andrew Boggess, Kameron Kelley, Amelia Boggess, Charley Ketcher, Chloe Ketcher, Jedidiah Boggess, Logan Carter, Arlo Carter, Chase, and Piper. Kenny touched many lives with his generosity and servanthood. He was genuine, caring, and always had a smile that was infectious. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
