Kristin May Hollman
Obituary
On March 28, 2023, Kristin May Hollman, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away. Kristin was born May 12, 1968 in Newport News, Virginia and was raised in North Carolina. Kristin attended UNC Charlotte for her undergraduate degree, and UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) where she studied Library Science. Kristin later moved to Colorado where she lived with her family in Nederland before moving to Salida and later Canon City.
Kristin was known for her infectious laugh, sense of humor, and her dedication to her family. Kristin loved books, movies, and all things nerdy – she was very proud of being an original Star Wars fan. Kristin was proud of her work as a librarian for the Colorado Department of Corrections, where she hoped that her work would have a positive impact.
Kristin is survived by her beloved husband Tyler, her children Ian and Jordan, her mother Rachel, her sister Angie, her nieces Cassidy and Dylan, and innumerable friends and loved ones.
Services will be held at the Colorado Burial Preserve on March 31, 2023 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, Kristin has asked that donations be made to the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation (rayofhopecolorado.org).
