Larry Matthew Pebley

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Matthew Pebley, who left us far too soon on May 9, 2025, at the age of 61.

Born on April 9, 1964, Larry lived a life marked by devotion, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He was the beloved husband of Yolanda Valles Pebley, and a proud, loving father to his sons, Eduardo and Matthew. Becoming a father brought Larry immense joy—he beamed with pride at the chance to guide, teach, and love his children. Whether it was teaching chess to his sons and nephews or dancing joyfully with his nieces, Larry poured his whole heart into every moment with his family.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Pebley, and his brothers, Michael Pebley and Scott Pebley. He is survived by his wife Yolanda, his sons Eduardo and Matthew, his mother Barbara Wills Step-Father Bill Wills and his siblings: Mark Pebley, Sharon Berry (Dave), Cindi Colbert (Ward), and Mary Bell (Mike). Larry is also survived by cousins Brent Evans (Brenda) and Beth Gaffney (Tim), along with many cherished nieces and nephews

Larry was not only a devoted family man but also a deeply respected colleague. His coworkers affectionately described him as “a breath of fresh air” in meetings—a man whose intelligence, honesty, and selflessness inspired those around him. A tireless and dedicated worker, Larry’s true calling was always his family. He loved fiercely and unconditionally, embracing all of his extended family as his own.

To know Larry was to know kindness. His heart was open to everyone, and he brought warmth and integrity into every room he entered. Meeting Yolanda, the love of his life, was a blessing he often spoke of with gratitude and joy. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering support.

Larry Matthew Pebley’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and quiet strength. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at St. Anthony’s Chapel on Thursday May 15th at 11 am. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 10 am at St. Anthony’s. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Donor Alliance an organization that helps save lives and was an integral part of the end of Larry’s life.
