Lori Ann Holt, 59, of Canon City, passed away June 12, 2022 after a faith-filled, 14 year battle with breast cancer.
She was born January 24, 1963 to Larry and Bonnie (Gash) Leonard in Colorado Springs, CO. Lori graduated from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs with the Class of ’81. She married Mark Holt and together they raised three children. Lori spent most of her career working as the Human Resources Manager for CLC, Inc., but many will remember her for her time at City Market, JumpStart Java, and Bank of the San Juans, where she worked until the time of her passing. Lori was a passionate cook and avid reader. She enjoyed movies, knitting, and shopping with her daughters and friends. Lori was always a caring and selfless “mother to all”.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Alex (Victoria) Holt, Caity (Sam) Beeson, Emily (Brian) Silengo; father and stepmother, Larry and Gaylene Leonard; granddaughter, Leilah Beeson; siblings, Jeff (Trudy) Kelsen, Tracie (Dan) Brown. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Leonard and brother, Kenny Leonard.
Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM, June 18th at the Evangelical Free Church, 3000 E. Main Street, Canon City, CO. In honor of her courageous fight with breast cancer, we ask that you wear a touch of pink or floral pattern to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to Orchard of Hope, 111 N. Orchard, Canon City, CO 81212 to further support families in our community affected by cancer.
