Margaret (Marge) Pantone Moorcroft, 98, long time Pueblo, Colorado resident passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 14, 1924 to Joseph and Filomena Pantone. She is survived by her children; Peggy Ayres, Linda and Don Thurston, John Moorcroft and Sheila and Curt Hermes, her sister Marie Pantone, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and five brothers, her son, Ed Moorcroft II, son-in-law, Don Ayres and Edward (Al) Moorcroft, the father of her children.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed life to the fullest and all it had to offer. Throughout the years she enjoyed dancing, bunco with her lady friends , bingo, taking leisurely drives and watching her beloved Broncos. Most of her adult life she was a homemaker, a job she truly enjoyed. She was a great cook and loved to bake, especially her families holiday favorites. She would always look forward to family gatherings, celebrating with good food, conversations and plenty of laughs.
Marge was a faithful Catholic, she enjoyed attending Mass and singing along with the hymns. Her family will always remember her kind, gentle spirit and loving personality, even in her most challenging times.
A Vigil open to the public will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. at the Shrine of Saint Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo, Colorado 81004
At Margaret's request, a private family Mass will be held.
